SCUBA DIVE AND SNORKELING
Taman Tunku Abdul Rahman Parks are known for it's water sports activities such as scuba dive, snorkeling and etc. However due to the safety of the visitors, some part of the island is decreed as no activities zone. This is to ensure the safety of all visitors are well kept by the lifeguard of Taman Tunku Abdul Rahman. Please refer to ' ZONING FOR RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES' map.

PICNIC
The serenity and tranquility offered by Taman Tunku Abdul Rahman Parks are the main reason for the local / foreign visitors made Manukan Island as their picnic spot. 15 minutes boat ride from the city and viola! We're there.

JUNGLE TREKKING
For visitors that have put on your trekking sneakers, they are also jungle trail located at Base Camp, Pulau Gaya. Trail that stretch around 0.5 kilometers are enough to educate us generally regarding marsh jungle. For the comfort of our visitors, all trail are equip with plank walk for your convenience. Enjoy your walk!

SOCCER FIELD / COURT GAMES
There is a soccer field on Tunku Abdul Rahman Park and court games (sepak takraw and volleyball) which is regularly used by sabah parks staffs. However, visitor that keen to use it, please obtain permission from park warden / officer in-charge.

Facilities

Accommodation/ Restaurant
Various kind of accommodations and a restaurant were available only in Pulau Manukan run by SUTERA SANCTUARY LODGES. There is a café, seasport and snack shop run by KOKTAS (Sabahparks staffs co-operative) at Pulau Manukan, Pulau Mamutik and Pulau Sapi. Other facilities were underway at Telok Malohom in Pulau Gaya. Camping were available at all islands except Pulau Manukan and Pulau Sulug.

Jetty
At present the main take off point from the mainland to Tunku Abdul Rahman Park is by way of a jetty at Jesselton Point, next to Royal Malaysian Customs and Excise, Kota Kinabalu. It takes about 15 minutes to travel by fast boat. Jetty were available at all islands and also at Pantai Point, Police Beach and Teluk Malohom.

Exhibition Centre
An exhibition centre can be found in the research building at Pulau Manukan. It is open daily from 9.00am to 3.00 pm except Monday. It could accommodate 20-30 people. A video show is also available for visitor.

Meeting/Seminar/Workshop Room
There is a mini room for meeting/seminar/workshop in Tunku Abdul Rahman Park. It could be rented out to visitors/public if unoccupied by sabah parks staffs. Visitor that keen to book, please refer to Sabah Parks hq/park warden/officer in-charge.
