Sabah Parks will organize the Crocker Range Biosphere Reserve Summit Tour program on 26 November 2022 at Bingkor Community Hall, Keningau. The program was held in conjunction with the first National Day of Biosphere Reserves and the 50th anniversary recognition of the Man and the Biosphere Program.
Sabah Parks will held Junior Park Ranger Programme at Inobong Substation on 15 November 2022 and carrying the theme programme "River Explorer". The Junior Park Ranger programme is an activity-based program conducted in all parks.
The Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia (MOTAC) and the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) will jointly organise the 6th World Tourism Conference (WTC) 2022 on 28-30 November 2022 in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia.
Sabah Parks will held a scientific expedition at Mamut Copper Mine. Mamut Copper Mine area was once part of the Kinabalu Park area and was removed from the Kinabalu Park gazettement in 1971 to make way for the economic development of the state of Sabah.
The aspiring Kinabalu UNESCO Global Geopark (aKUGGp) is located in the north-western part of Sabah, Malaysia. The area covers three districts: Kota Belud, Kota Marudu and part of Ranau. The aspiring Kinabalu UNESCO Global Geopark covers an area of 4,750 km2. It covers the entire district of Kota Marudu (1,775 km2), Kota Belud (1,386.52 km2) and part of Ranau district (1,588 km2).
